Delete your account Lendmates
You can request the closure of your Lendmates account at any time, and the deletion of the associated personal data. You have two ways to do it.
Option 1 - In the app (recommended)
- Open the Lendmates app and sign in.
- Go to Profile → Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Confirm your request. We will send you a confirmation email to the address linked to your account.
Option 2 - By email
If you cannot access the app, write to privacy@lendmates.ai from the email address linked to your account, and put the subject line as "Account deletion request".
To protect you against fraudulent requests, we may ask you to confirm your identity before proceeding. We will handle your request within 30 days after verification.
What gets deleted
- Your public profile: name, photo, bio, area.
- All your listings, active and archived.
- Uploaded photos.
- Your favourites, saved searches and app preferences.
- Push notification tokens and device identifiers.
- The content of your chat conversations, except as described below.
What we need to keep, and for how long
Some data cannot be deleted right away because the law requires us to keep it. In those cases, we remove it from day-to-day use and store it with restricted access.

Before you proceed. You cannot delete your account if you have active rentals, orders that haven't been delivered yet, deposits still on hold, open disputes, or balances to be collected. Complete or cancel those activities, then submit the request again. Deletion is final and not reversible: you will not be able to recover your history, received reviews or listings.
